Esports Betting Markets Explained
Most esports markets follow the same logic across titles, while each game adds a few specials.
| Market | How the bet works | Common in |
|---|---|---|
| Match winner | The team that wins the series | All titles |
| Map winner | The winner of one map, such as Map 2 | CS2, Dota 2, LoL, Valorant |
| Handicap | A head start or deficit in maps, rounds or kills; −1.5 maps in a best-of-three means a 2–0 win | All titles |
| Totals | Over or under a line of maps, rounds or kills | All titles |
| Correct score | The exact series score, for example 2–1 | All titles |
| First blood | The team that gets the first kill on a map | Dota 2, LoL |
| Race to X | The first team to reach a set number of kills or rounds | CS2, Dota 2, Valorant |
| Objectives | First Roshan, first tower or first barracks | Dota 2 |
| Round specials | Pistol round, odd/even rounds, overtime | CS2 |
| Player specials | Stats of a named player, such as kills on a map | Selected matches |
| Outrights | The winner of the whole tournament | Headline events |
Most picks can go on the bet slip as a single or join a parlay or system bet. Parlays can mix sports, for example a CS2 map winner with an IPL match winner, but every leg has to win. System bets spread the stake across smaller combinations, so one losing pick does not sink the whole slip.
Live Esports Betting
Matches in progress appear in the All Live section of the sportsbook, and series about to start are listed under Upcoming events. Odds are re-priced throughout each map, and the line follows the series map by map.
- Map-by-map lines. Map winner, round or kill totals and handicaps for the map in progress.
- Kill and round races. Race to a set number of rounds in CS2, or to 10, 15 or 20 kills in Dota 2.
- Cash Out. On selected markets, a bet can be settled early in full or in part.
- Streams and trackers. Logged-in users can watch selected events; other matches come with a match tracker and live stats.
The same live line is available in the Parimatch app for Android, in the iPhone web app and in the mobile browser.
Prices move fast. Live esports odds change between rounds and after every big fight, so check the odds on the bet slip before confirming.
Bonuses And Parlays for Esports Bets
The welcome offers do not include a separate esports bonus. The Sports welcome bonus is the one tied to the sportsbook and is chosen in the sign-up form.
| Term | Sports welcome bonus |
|---|---|
| Size | 150% up to ₹20,000 or 200 USDT/USDC |
| Wagering | x16 the bonus amount within 3 days, pre-match and live |
| Qualifying bets | Singles at odds 1.8+; parlays of 3+ legs, each at 1.4+, total odds 2.2+ |
| Maximum withdrawal from the bonus | x5 the bonus amount |
Which events count toward wagering is set out in the bonus rules, so check the terms before betting on CS2 or Dota 2 with bonus funds. Cashed-out, system, voided and free bets do not count toward wagering, and a maximum bet limit applies while the bonus is active.
Parlay Boost is regularly offered for parlays of 3+ legs at 1.4+ each, from +8% for three legs up to +150%. Conditions change, so the current list is kept on the Parimatch bonus page.

Open an AccountEsports Betting Tips
- Check line-ups before the start. In team games, a stand-in replacing one of five players can change how a side plays.
- Wait for the map veto. In CS2 and Valorant, teams ban and pick maps before the series. Map winner and round totals are easier to judge once the map list is known.
- Follow the patch. Balance updates in Dota 2 and League of Legends change which heroes and champions are strong.
- Respect the format. A best-of-one leaves little room to recover from a slow start, so upsets are more frequent than in a best-of-three.
- Read odds as probabilities. Dividing 1 by the decimal odds gives the implied chance of an outcome: odds of 2.50 mean 40%. If a personal estimate is lower, the price offers no value.
18+ only. Esports draws a young audience, but accounts are for adults only. Betting carries a risk of loss, and no tip guarantees a result. Deposit limits, session reminders, time-outs and self-exclusion can be set in the account; see the responsible gambling page.
